Opis
Izvleček:Usage of totally encIosed fan-cooled motors in ventilator drives can be problematic because a ventilator drive usually changes the normal air flow along the motor's cooling surface, thus influencing the cooling of the driving motor. A thermal image of a totally encIosed fan-cooled two-speed threephase induction motor is studied based on results from motor temperature rise tests in a ventilator drive and in a laboratory drive Presented results show that the ventilator drive affects the motor' s cooling air flow and therefore weakens the motor's cooling, especially when operating at lower speed.
