Izvleček:This paper describes the individual differences that influence people's inclination to stressors and also how to manage them efficiently. First, a brief overview is presented of the most prominent factors that determine people's reactions to stress: 1. individual self-perception and power, 2. locus of control, 3. type A/B behavioral pattern, 4. negative orientation, and 5. ability. Subsequently, the article discusses a number of individual methods for managing stress in work settings, such as physical activities, breathing and muscle relaxation, meditation, and yoga. Special attention is paid to the individual methods for preventing stress in work settings.
