Navedeni so dosedanji izidi Solzic, zbirka je od leta 1949 doživela kar enaintrideset ponatisov, ter pomen zbirke v sodobnosti. Na realistični časovni okvir preloma iz devetnajstega v dvajseto stoletje, izjemoma so črtice umeščene v poznejši čas, in realistične opise pokrajine avtor slika predvsem človeške odnose ter razmerja med razslojenim prebivalstvom na Koroškem. Vseprisotnost revščine in hkrati varnost doma sta najmočnejša spomina na zgodnje otroštvo, iz katerih avtor upoveduje predvsem čustva, ki se porajajo v otroku ob konkretni situaciji: premagovanje strahu, sovraštvo do šole, sram zaradi revščine. Moč Prežihovih Solzic se skriva v vrednotah, ki jih je Prežih ubesedil, to so poštenost, prijateljstvo, predanost, zvestoba jeziku in narodu. This article is dedicated to the sixtieth anniversary of the publication of Lilies of the valley by Prežihov Voranc. Despite temporal distance, this collection turned out to be topical again which is in juvenile literature more of an exception than a rule. Regardless of the fact that the sketches are exceptionally considered to be of a later date, the author depicts realistic landscape using the original time frame of the late nineteenth and the beginnings of the twentieth century. The author focuses on human interrelations and differences among the social strata. Overwhelming presence of poverty and home security are author's strongest memory of his early childhood. Therefore he reveals particular emotions that arise from deep within the child in a concrete situation: overcoming fear, hatred of school, embarrassment on account of scarcity. The power of Lilies of the Valley by Prežihov Voranc is hidden in the values that the author exquisitely integrated using honesty, friendship, devotion, loyalty to his mother tongue and nation. |
