Zato menita, da je pri poškodbah vranice vrednoin treba narediti heterotopno avtotransplantacijo tkiva vranice v omentumu, če zaradi obsežnosti poškodb že ne moremo ohraniti organa. Mnenja sta, da se tako v znatni meri zmanjša tveganje komplikacij zaradi izgube organa. Sama avtotransplantacija pa zaradi enostavnosti in malenkostnega podaljšanja operativnega posega po tem, ko je hemostaza že izvršena, ne povečuje tveganja operativnega posega, niti tveganja postoperativnih komplikacij. | ||

On the basis of analyses of the results of laboratory investigationsthey established that heterotopic lien autotransplantations assume the function of the removed organ to a large degree. Therefore they share the opinion that in injuries of the spleen, if it is not possible to preserve the organ because of the extent of the injuries, it is wortwile and necessary to perform heterotopic autotransplantations of spleen tissue in the omentum. They believe that the risk of complications because of organ loss canthus be decreased to a great extent. The autotransplantation itself, because of the simplicity and slight prolongation of th esurgical intervention after haemostasis has been performed, increases neither the risk of surgical intervention nor of postoperative complications. | ||
