The generalised description of a gear train is introduced, which enables building of an effective, multipurpose and user friendly data input interface. Generalisation is provided with use of symbolic computer algebra fundamental algorithms. Te optimisation procedure is based on the genetic algorithm. The main advantage of the presented design procedure is its stability and applicability to many deign problems. |
