Izvleček: | In systems of medium voltage overhead lines with covered conductors (CC) in the Slovenian distribution network, porcelain and glass pin insulators are most frequently used. The accessories and the method of fixing insulators to the pole are the same as in lines with base conductors, only the method of fixing the covered line to the insulator is different. Some disturbances have been detected in the operation of such systems. By means of electric field calculation based on FEM the circumstances that might lead to operation disturbances have been investigated. The construction and the manufacturing technology of porcelain and glass insulators play an important role in the distribution of the electric field between the covered conductor and other parts of the system. The results of computer simulations have been verified with laboratory measurements. |
