Izvleček:The paper presents the development, verification and implementation of the model of analytical simulation for the prediction of cutting forces in end milling. The analytical model for simulation of cutting forces consists of the mechanistic model and the statistical model supported by regression analysis. The mechanistic model is based on chip load, cut geometry and the relationship between cutting forces, chip load, cutting force coefficinets and cutting parameters. A model building procedure is based on experimentally obtained average forces. Average forces are describrd as a function of cuttingparameters such as cut geometry, feed rate, cutting speed, etc. The purpose of the analytical and experimental model is to predict and represent the events during the machining process.
