| Izvleček: | The author analyses the role of business schools and economic faculties in the process of economic development and modernization. The starting point is the fact that especially in transition countries those institutions should be leaders of reforms in the field of education, thus paving the way for reforms in business practice and in society. Comparing introduction of Bologna reforms in higher education among five chosen universities in Serbia and Slovenia, with the help of interviews and simple statistical analysis the author finds that it is the level of agglomeration and not the level of the transition, which defines the efficiency of educational reforms in chosen countries. |
