| Izvleček: | The use of economic criteria in the construction of an Attainable Region gives rise to the transformation of the conventional Concentration Attainable Region (CAR) into different Economic Regions (ERs). The more the objective function is discrete, nonlinear and noncom ex and the more its cost coefficients vary with time, the more ERs decline frorn the CAR. However, economically optimal solutions always lie at the borders of ERs. Some important insights have been gained during the construction of different time dependent ERs, which can be useful in upgrading the MINLP approach to the synthesis of reactor network in overall process schemes. |
